What started as a strike by women in New York for better working conditions in the textile industry, became a powerful movement that fought for women's rights. And now a day each year that we can call International Women's Day.
Thanks to these women we can vote, we can study and we can live our free lives here.

This movement was created out of solidarity between women

- Let's support each other where needed and enjoy each other's unique beauty.
- And let's raise our daughters to be independent women who know how to find each other.

International Women’s Day has changed the world in many ways. It has helped raise awareness about women’s rights, gender equality and the fight against discrimination and violence.
