Which part of your head can you treat?

Decide if you want to treat your bald spots or your entire scalp. You can use the dermaroller on your entire scalp, not just on the problem areas.

The treatment also prevents hair loss, so you can counteract that in the places where your hair has not yet fallen out.

Should I wash my hair before hair growth treatment?

This is not necessary, but we do advise it. It is better to wash your hair if you have gel/wax/spray in your hair, for example. That rolls out easier.

It is also a good idea to wash your hair if it may have become dirty, for example because you work somewhere where there is a relatively large amount of dirt and dust in the air.

Which time of day is best to treat myself with the hair growth treatment?

We recommend treating in the evening so that the serum can soak in overnight. The next morning you can safely wash your hair and reapply a small amount of serum to your scalp.

How do I dermaroll?

Short hair: For short hair, e.g. up to 3 cm, you can place the dermaroller on your head from your hairline (forehead) and then roll backwards in 1 smooth movement. Do not roll back and forth. Always start at the front again.

Or roll from a hair parting in the middle of your head towards your ear.

Long hair: Be careful not to let the hairs get tangled in your hair.
For long hair, make a parting and place the dermaroller on the parting, then roll in 1 direction for a maximum of 2 cm. So you roll very short pieces.
Never roll back and forth.

Can I use gel/wax/spray for my hair in the morning?

Yes, if you have had treatment in the evening, it is no problem to use gel/wax/spray the next morning.

We do not recommend using gel/wax/spray immediately after a treatment.

Does microneedling really work?

It has been scientifically proven that microneedling stimulates hair growth and reduces hair loss. The most important thing is that you still have hair and are not completely bald.

If you are completely bald in the areas you want to treat, microneedling will no longer work. The only option is a hair transplant.

Does microneedling also work for people with a genetic predisposition (Alopecia Androgenetica) for baldness?

Microneedling is certainly still useful for Alopecia Androgenetica, but a more intensive approach is required.

Especially in the beginning, we recommend treating 3 to 5 times a week. When sufficient results have been achieved, the frequency can be reduced to 1 time per week. For information: 1 treatment takes about 5 minutes.

With this form too, it is important that you still have hair and are not completely bald in the areas you want to treat.

What is the basis for the effect of microneedling?

Microneedling involves pricking the skin with tiny microneedles. When pricking, certain substances are released into the skin, which have a stimulating effect.

Hair follicles can become inactive for various reasons (popularly called "dormant hair follicles"). The stimulating substances released during microneedling can reactivate these hair follicles.

In addition, microneedling ensures that active ingredients from the hair growth serum (SERUM 06) are absorbed much better and deeper. This way, these ingredients reach the hair follicles.

What do you use the Layzin Cleansing Spray for?

The Cleansing Spray is specially developed to clean the dermaroller and skin. However, in case of the Hair Growth Set, you do not use the Cleansing Spray to clean your scalp. For the hair growth treatment, you only use the Cleansing Spray to clean your dermaroller, before and after the treatment.

The hygiene guidelines for the hair growth set are as follows:

• Before treatment, rinse the derma roller head under running warm water.
• Spray your roller head with the Cleansing Spray and let it dry for 60 seconds.
• After the treatment, rinse the derma roller head again under running warm water and spray your roller head again with the Cleansing Spray.
• Then store the roller head in the storage box.

I am going to have a hair transplant soon. Does it make sense to use the hair growth kit?

Microneedling is recommended just before a hair transplant to strengthen your scalp and improve blood circulation. Make sure you stop microneedling at least 1 week before the transplant so your scalp can recover properly.

I have had a hair transplant. Can I use the hair growth kit?

Yes, it can also be beneficial to treat after a hair transplant. Microneedling stimulates blood flow to the scalp, which can help prevent implanted hair from falling out. We advise you to wait at least 3 months after your transplant before starting treatment. Consult with your doctor whether this advice applies to your specific situation.

What does a Layzin Hair Growth Set consist of?
